Set up your alert
Want every great deal, not just one model? Switch on Deal alerts too, and Wheel Scout alerts you when any car is posted well under what similar cars sell for near you. Its filters narrow them by miles, title and condition, and keep your nights quiet.
Tips for a better alert
- Start with make and model. Leave the rest open at first, then tighten it if you get more alerts than you want.
- Set max price at your real limit. The underpriced cars come in under it, and those are the ones you want to hear about.
- Give the years some room. A wider year range catches more cars, and the good deal is often a year older than you planned.
Why speed matters
An underpriced car by owner can sell the same day, and the first person to message usually gets it. Alert speed and how many saved alerts you get depend on the plan:
| Dealer | Instant alerts the moment a car is posted, and 10 saved alerts. $29.99 the first month, then $39.99 a month. |
|---|---|
| Pro | Fast alerts, and 5 saved alerts. $1.99 the first month, then $19.99 a month. |
| Scout | Basic alert speed, and 1 saved alert. $9.99 a month. |

Three marketplaces, one app
Wheel Scout watches Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp and Craigslist near you in one feed, so the car you want reaches you wherever the seller posted it. Every car gets an AI deal evaluation, and salvage titles and dealers posing as owners are flagged. More about Wheel Scout's alerts.

Buying guides
Find the deal, then check it.
Wheel Scout alerts you the moment an underpriced car posts on Marketplace, OfferUp or Craigslist near you, and runs the history right in the app.
The basic history report uses NMVTIS data from an approved NMVTIS data provider. NMVTIS records come from states, insurers and salvage yards; not every event is reported to it. Vehicle specs and recalls come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Wheel Scout is not affiliated with any marketplace or government agency.
